Design Specifications:
At La Fetelier, our Semi-Custom Suites are crafted with deliberate intent. We limit changes to each Collection piece to the personalization options detailed on the product page. For further customization, we recommend exploring our bespoke design services. When you receive a proof, it is crucial to review it for accuracy in spelling, dates, and punctuation. Once approved and sent to print, no further modifications can be made. Any errors not corrected during the proofing process that require reprinting will be at your expense.
Production Times:
Full-Service Custom Projects
Our production schedule is carefully planned based on your desired mailing date and our studio’s availability. Given that we are typically booked 9-12 months in advance, we highly recommend reserving your spot early if you wish to work with La Fetelier for your special occasion.
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will establish a detailed timeline for your Save-the-Dates and Invitations that aligns with the mailing date you provide. It is crucial for clients to adhere strictly to these timelines. Failure to follow the scheduled dates can result in rush charges or late fees.
The entire custom process for designing and producing your stationery generally spans 10-14 weeks, depending on our current project calendar and the complexity of your order. This timeline ensures each element of your stationery is crafted with the attention to detail and quality La Fetelier is known for.
Semi-Custom Projects
Upon order placement, you will receive a digital proof within 3-5 business days. The total design and printing process for invitations is 5-7 weeks. Your order will not proceed until all necessary details (event date, location, etc.) are provided. Delays in providing complete information may affect the production timeline. We are not responsible for delays resulting from incomplete information.
Revisions:
Full-Service Custom Projects
At La Fetelier, our goal is to capture and refine your vision into a tangible form that exceeds your expectations. During your initial design consultation, we will explore your preferences and requirements thoroughly. After this meeting, and upon reviewing your Design Form, you will be provided with a rough sketch. This sketch serves as a preliminary visual agreement on the direction of the project before proceeding to the creation of any detailed artwork.
Once you approve the rough sketch, we advance to the art creation phase. In this phase, your suite is meticulously designed and presented in digital format for your review and final approval. Please note, revisions should be minor tweaks to the existing design and do not include a complete redesign or a significant change in art direction.
Due to the bespoke nature of our work and the unique artwork crafted for each client, any changes to the approved design direction or artwork after this point will incur additional design fees. These fees will be assessed and communicated on a per-request basis, ensuring transparency and alignment with your vision throughout the process.
Semi-Custom Projects
Your order includes one round of revisions and a final approval form. Minor edits are accepted during final approval. Additional revisions are available at $75 per round. Once designs are approved, printing takes approximately 3 weeks, with an additional 2-7 days for shipping, depending on location.
Reprints:
Typically, invitation counts range from 60-75% of your total guest count, accounting for families and couples. We recommend ordering an additional 15% for any last-minute guests and keepsakes.
For Bespoke projects, a $575 set-up fee applies for extra prints after the completion of your order and a $175 set-up fee for semi-custom orders.
Colors:
We strive to represent colors accurately in your digital proof. However, as all letterpress printing inks are mixed by hand, a 100% color match cannot be guaranteed.
Shipping:
Shipping costs are included in your total.
Semi-Custom Projects
Orders within the US are shipped via UPS Standard Ground, which may take 2-7 business days. Once invitations are shipped, we cannot control the handling of your order. A tracking number will be provided, but we cannot access detailed shipment progress. To avoid potential delays, please order early. We are not liable for any losses, delays, or damages during shipping.
Returns:
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. All sales are final. If a printing error on our part occurs, we will reprint the item at no additional cost. If an error is approved in the proof, reprinting costs will be your responsibility.
